INL Deputy Assistant Secretary Heather Merritt Visits ILEA Roswell

On November 14, 2019, ILEA Roswell welcomed U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) Deputy Assistant Secretary (DAS) Heather Merritt. DAS Merritt addressed the participants of the pilot Executive Policy and Development Symposium on Transnational Organized Crime – Strategy and Cyber-Financial Crimes, which included judges, prosecutors, and law enforcement professionals from Colombia, El Salvador, Honduras, and Panama. DAS Merritt also shared lunch with the heads of delegation from the respective countries while discussing best practices and challenges regarding cybercrime and transnational organized crime in the Western Hemisphere.
