ILEA Roswell welcomed 35 delegates from Botswana, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Namibia, Niger, South Africa, and Zambia for the Executive Policy and Development Symposium on Transnational Crime-Wildlife Trafficking and Model Law this week. This symposium will focus on building a comprehensive national response model for combating trafficking in wildlife and identify key areas of policy and enforcement guidance; criminal justice, as it pertains to the system of identifying, investigating and prosecuting crimes; and engagement with civil society.
