In 2021, Assistant Commissioner of Police Mira Koroma, earned the enviable and competitive position of Police Planner at the United Nations Headquarters. “Thirteen years after participating in and graduating from the Advanced Management Course at ILEA Roswell, New Mexico, and proudly a “Roswellean,” I find myself at the United Nations Headquarters, New York, as a Police Planning Officer at the Strategic Policy & Development Section of the Police Division in the Office of Rule of Law and Institutions, Peacekeeping Operations. The Advanced Management Course was well engaging, in-depth, and covered massive areas of policing and management... The course was not only theoretical but practical also, bringing to life all that was taught around combating organized crime and criminal investigations, all geared toward improving the investigative and managerial skills of participants. I AM PROUDLY AN ALUMNA OF ILEA ROSWEL (2010), GABORONE (2011)& ACCRA(2014)!”
